What kind of plumbing work is common in Portland

Bull Run's water is soft and low in minerals, which is easy on appliances but slightly more aggressive on older galvanized and some copper joints over the long run — it's part of why houses from the mid-20th century often show pinhole leaks or reduced flow at the fixtures furthest from the meter before anything else fails. If your water pressure has dropped room by room over the years rather than all at once, that's usually the pipe, not the city supply.
